Season One
Wilderness Hideaways
30 minutes
Engedi - where David hid from Saul’s armies and where he wrote many of the Psalms
Qumran - Your VR Tour Guide is renowned archeologist, Roni Netzer, who worked on the Dead Sea Scrolls excavations. We discuss why there are Scrolls. Then a brief talk about who the Essenes are, and why they are like a New Testament community but could not be.
Masada - we examine King Herod’s lavish resort hideaway on top of a mountain beside the Dead Sea. We discuss how the Romans were denied a slaughter by the suicide of almost a thousand Jews who had taken over the top and lived there for three years.
Dead Sea - we discuss the ecological disaster currently happening and the efforts to work with Jordan & Egypt to save the Dead Sea from further shrinkage
THe Land Of yeshua
30 minutes
Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives - introduction to your IGT tour guide, Yoram Black, who welcomes the viewers to a magnificent view of Jerusalem from the Mt of Olives and from "Dominus Flavits" (Where Yeshua laments the coming destruction of Jerusalem)
Nazareth - we discuss Yeshua’s first “midrash” (preaching) of Isaiah 60 to begin His ministry after returning from the wilderness temptation. Why did his message make them so angry? We go to Mt. Precipice, the cliff outside of Nazareth village, to see how far that drop is and get a look from the Valley of Jezreel towards the nine hour walk to Capernaum on the Sea of Galilee.
Capernaum - we stand on the shore where Yeshua called his first five disciples. There we see the house is marked as an early first century home-group meeting place with an inscription to “the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the Name of Yeshua” .
“Sermon on the Mount” - Have you ever wondered how Yeshua spoke to 5,000 people without a PA system? We show you the natural amphitheater only ten minutes walk up the hill from Capernaum.
Caesarea Phillipi (Banias) - Yeshua is mentioned taking his disciples to this Golani region and referencing the “Gates of Hell”. This is where He asks the important question “Who do you say that I am” to his disciples and Simon’s name is forever changed to Peter for understanding this immovable foundational truth. You will see that place of extraordinarily wicked temples dedicated to Pan & the Nymphs, Nemesis, and other pagan deities at the Unholy of Unholies, the literal location of the Gates of Hell where the Jordan River begins to flow from the back of Mt Hermon southward to the Dead Sea.
Southern Gates of the Temple Wall - This site was excavated many years after the Western Wall or it could have been called the most holy site of Judaism! This was where everyone entered into the Second (Herod’s) Temple through the Court of the Gentiles leading into the Holy Place (for Priests) and then further into the Holy of Holies (for only the High Priest annually).
This is the entrance Yeshua would have used when going up to Jerusalem for the Feasts. Hundred of mikvot (ritual baptism pools) have been excavated at this entrance of the Second Temple. See the Al-Aqsa mosque built on top of the wall. An upper room on this wall is the only location in all of Israel where 3,000 men could be preached to and immersed (baptized) as mentioned in Acts 2
Pool of Bethesda - We discuss this enormous swimming pool and how there was a man who believed in the superstition of healing angels touching the water for 38 years before he met Yeshua and was healed in an instant.
St. Anne’s Cathedral - built in the 1100s, this place is famous for it’s acoustics and many international tour groups come here specifically to praise God in the ambiance.
The Garden Tomb - visit the alternative site of the empty tomb! We discuss how ideal the setting is for the narrative, and then explain why this site is not possibly accurate.
The Empty Tomb - we go to Church of the Holy Sepulcher to discuss how this site was determined by Helene, mother of Emperor Constantine. We also go look at the chapel inside to mention that the wars known as the Crusades began over this very site, and then we go inside to take a look at the empty tomb.
“Psalm 122 - a prayer journey” - We end this program with a meditative verse-by-verse prayer walk though Psalm 122 and pray for the peace of Jerusalem while we are going around the Old City Walls; from the Muslim Quarter to the Christian Quarter and ending at the Jewish Quarter for a look at the golden menorah prepared for the next Temple.
[These two programs run an hour. Then a 5 minute rest for the eyes/brain, and end with a short program…usually this next one]
paul's prison
6 minutes
We look at King Herod’s city, where he built a Coliseum still in use for modern concerts today on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. We look at the Hippodrome (chariot races) and the King’s palace overlooking the crystal blue water. We stand in the area of the palace where the Apostle Paul was held before being taken to Rome. We also talk about how Peter came from Yaffe to visit Cornelius in Caesarea, the first gentile called into the fellowship of Jewish believers.
Each show in our VR Theatre is a compilation of shorter, more detailed versions of the same locations posted FREE on our website app at www.culturalXchange.org
We can customize to fit any time frame, but we’ve found the 70 minute program to be best. In that time we will go to Engedi, Qumran, Masada, Dead Sea, Mount of Olives, Nazareth, Capernaum, Sermon-on-the-Mount, Caesarea Phillipi, Pool of Bethesda, Southern end of the Temple, The Garden Tomb, Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and the Old City Walls.

Tel Dan (Lachish)
6 minutes
In this site we see an arched gate of the Canaanite where Abraham may have entered when he fought Og and Bashan to rescue his nephew Lot.
The Canaanite city, Lachish, was conquered by Joshua and the Tribe of Dan renamed it Tel Dan. When Israel was split in two, King Jeraboam built a counterfeit Temple here that caused the Northern Kingdom of Israel to go into captivity of Assyria.
We will stand inside the ruins of the altar of sacrifice that sent Israel into exile.
